Strawberry Ice Cream


We are having the best Summer ever in the Netherlands! And of course, when we speak of Summer we (especially the kids) think of ice cream.

Unfortunately, ice cream isn't the healthiest food on earth. The ones that are sold from supermarkets and shops are full of sugar and fat, so I decided to give it a try and make my own ice cream at home.

It turned out great. My daughter loved it so much she can even have ice cream for breakfast now! 

How wonderful is that?


  • 2 cups of frozen strawberries

  • 2 to 3 table spoons of Greek yogurt

  • 2 table spoons of raw honey

Put all the ingredients in a food processor and once you have the ice cream texture, just enjoy it! It can also be stored in the freezer to eat anytime.

Simple and delicious!
